This course is ideal if you've worked in beauty therapy for some time or have gained a Level 2 qualification. Your work may involve supervising others or managing resources and this course will enable you to develop your skills further to gain a high level of specialist skills.
You will build upon your current practical skills, incorporating further treatments such as hot and cold stone therapy and microdermabrasion, as well as many more Level 3 treatments. You will obtain advanced skills in readiness and meeting the demands of the current beauty industry standards.
This qualification is ideal if you want to progress your career within the beauty therapy industry.
You should have four GCSEs at grade 4 (grade C) or above and a Level 2 in Beauty Therapy qualification.
You will be required to have a salon placement in order to do this course.

Your progress will be assessed by a range of methods including practical assessments/ observations, written assignments, and on-line tests.
English and Maths are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career. If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE Maths and/ or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.

This course is for those who wish to develop their practical skills in the beauty industry and meet the demands of the specialist skills required for advanced treatments within the beauty sector. You can also pursue supervisory or management roles.
City and Guilds
After completing the course, you could study a Level 4 Diploma in Management.
You will have achieved high levels of practical skills in order to practice advanced techniques in the beauty sector.
