If you would like to work in the early years sector with children 5year old and under this courses give you the knowledge and experience.
This course prepares students to become Early Years Educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years.

You will build a portfolio of evidence for all internally assessed unit assessments (14 mandatory units). Learners must also achieve a pass grade D or above for the external assessments. These are assessed and marked with valid and accurate feedback to support your progression.
You will be observed in placement to when working in partnership with employers, decisions relating to learners competence must be made by qualified, occupationally competent Assessors.
You will need GCSE Mathematics and GCSE English at Grade 4/5 or above or Mathematics and English at Functional Skills Level 2.
This is a 2 year course where you will be in college 3 days and a practical placement for 2 days per week. During your college days you will have Tutorials, Direct Learning, Taster days and Enrichment build into your study bundle.
This course is for those who want to work in the early years sector with children birth to 5 years.
