In partnership with Britishvolt, we are working to recruit to and provide training for engineering technician and production line operator apprenticeships. Our bespoke pre-employment provision will support recruitment to Britishvolt's new gigaplant and our apprenticeships will ensure they have the technical skills they need, now and in the future.
We are now recruiting to our Engineering Technician apprenticeship positions at Britishvolt. As part of the Level 3 apprenticeship, you’ll gain valuable knowledge about the battery manufacturing industry and develop the technical skills you'll need for an exciting career with Britishvolt. This is your chance to build the batteries that will power electric vehicles for a cleaner, greener future.
Apprentices will initially be based at our Ashington campus and Britishvolt's scale up facility, before moving to our new technical training campus and Britishvolt's gigaplant near Blyth. Once complete, the gigaplant will produce enough cells for 300,000 electric vehicle battery packs a year.
