Alex started a career in hairdressing when she left school at 16 and decided to broaden her skills by studying Level 2 and Level 3 Beauty Therapy. At Northumberland College she found a real passion for making people feel good about themselves.
Level 2 and Level 3 Beauty Therapy.
I have always wanted to become a beauty therapist. Ever since I was young I always enjoyed doing mine and my family’s nails.
I choose Northumberland College because it was close to where I live and it was the more practical option.
The best thing about my course was that it was always hands on and very practical.
They were always there , if you had a question they had the answer or if you needed help with anything.
The atmosphere at college was always cheerful and happy.
Being able to have clients come into the salon for treatments.
To focus on myself and practising the treatments as much as I could.
I would highly recommend the college. The advice I would give is to focus on the practical lessons and practice every treatment.
Educational and supportive.
I am currently working at Beau Monde Salon and Spa as a beauty therapist.
I have achieved my ambitions by becoming qualified in beauty therapist which I wouldn’t have been able to if I hadn’t chose to study at Northumberland College.
