You need to be sociable and a good communicator, be able to relate to people from lots of different backgrounds, reliable and enthusiastic, confident in your own ability and have lots of energy, stamina and enthusiasm.
You'll study this subject full-time at Ashington Campus or Berwick Campus and will have access to our hair and beauty salons with Wella Centre of Excellence status.
You will be able to showcase your talents at regional and national skills competitions. Our students have been consistently successful at the annual AHT competition, with many of our students scooping top prizes. You will get hands-on experience working in our commercial hair and beauty salons.
