Our brand-new indoor equine arena is an international-standard 38 by 48 metre square indoor arena with viewing gallery. Our equestrian centre also boasts a schooling field and paddock, stable block accommodation, tack room.
Our 800m squared SEND building is a state-of-the-art learning environment for students who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). It is home to a sensory room, and a modern and innovative life skills zone to allow students to develop their independence and an employability hub to support their progression.
The zoo is home to 150 species of animals, from Shetland ponies and goats to more unusual mammals such as meerkats, wallabies, lemurs, civets, coatis and agoutis as well as tamarins, marmosets, monkeys, birds, reptiles, tarantulas and scorpions. Our students gain valuable work experience in preparation for their chosen careers.
Brand new for September 2020 our state-of-the-art health hub consists of a three-bed hospital ward, sluice area and treatment room and an assisted living area which mirrors the home care environment.
