Plumbing students and apprentices were visited by a Guest Lecturer from Mira Headstart.
Designed to help support the next generation of plumbers and installers, the Mira Headstart programme allows students to get hands-on with Mira’s market leading products to learn about shower installation direct from tutors with real industry experience.
During a half-day session, our students enjoyed a presentation as well as a practical workshop teaching them how to plumb in a shower system.
Shirley Airey, Business Development Officer at Northumberland College, said:
“We were delighted to welcome the team from Mira Headstart to Northumberland College.
“We are always proactively seeking new ways to partner with businesses to provide our students with teaching and learning activities which will enhance their overall college experience.”
