Our Kirkley Hall Campus is part of our multi-million pound investment in new and improved learning facilities.
Here is a taste of what is happening:
Our Kirkley Hall Campus is home to our land-based, animal, equine, veterinary nursing, outdoor adventure and military training courses.
Zoological Gardens with over 200 species of animals
Two working farms - Kirkley Hall in Ponteland, and Carlcroft in the Cheviot Hills
Outdoor activity centre including zip wire, assault course, climbing and abseil tower
Extensive gardens, greenhouses and CAD Design software
Equestrian centre with stable yard, indoor and outdoor riding arenas and cross country course
Full field craft and platoon sized training area and full airsoft training area
Dog grooming parlour and kennels

I’ve met some really lovely people through this and I am grateful for the time and energy the tutors put into each one of us. My past experiences helped me get my job, but the knowledge I gained, as well as great advice from my tutor, meant that I had the information fresh at the interview.
Apprenticeships
There was a positive atmosphere around campus and I liked how the course wasn’t all theory work, but practical as well. The tutors helped with my confidence and self-belief, made learning enjoyable and gave real examples of life in the armed forces.
